Old tribal Skhab perfumed necklace from Algeria or Tunisia

This type of necklace, popular among the Algerian Ouled Naïl and in Tunisia, is composed of a scented paste called Guemha made from cloves, ambergris and rose water, in addition to other ingredients specific to each community.
It is reputed to have aphrodisiac properties.
