This jewelry from northern Morocco, specifically Tétouan, features twisted gadroons enriched with embossed scroll motifs. The gadroons, alternating vibrant colors and gilding, illustrate Andalusian influence on Moroccan arts of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This motif often symbolizes the cosmic balance between the sun and the moon, offering spiritual protection.
