Rare 19th century Berber tribal silver headdress medallion from Ouezzane in Morocco. Old Moroccan medallion with a hallmark of Fes.

This silver plate and blue and green glass cabochon was sewn on a headband worn on the forehead.
Made in the cities, this type of head ornament is appreciated in the countryside, especially by the Zaïane tribes.
