I unfortunately do not have the information on the exact meaning of the ring, but:
- knowing on the one hand that the signs used come from the Gheez alphabet mainly used in the north / east of Ethiopia,
- That it has long been used in the liturgy of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.
So it could be from the Oromo Christian community ...
But the Jewish community also used the Gheez alphabet for their liturgy ...
